In general, in the use, the mechanical properties and the mechanical performance requirements are not high, so the quality of the aluminum tread plate is mainly about the pattern rate, pattern height, pattern height difference. Currently the available thickness is 2.0-8mm on the market, the width is 1250,1500 mm. And for special places (such as the places need to vacant, or in the high corrosion degree, or easy to rust and corrosion), 5052 or 6061 anti-rust anti-skid aluminum plate is recommended to use, the series of non-slip aluminum has great performance of anti-rust, corrosion resistance. For the vacant place, the staff need to step on it, the proposed use is alloy series, while the thickness is not less than 6.0mm, the series and thickness of the non-slip aluminum plate to keep the safety of staff maximize, while ensuring the life of non-slip aluminum plate.

Exact knowledge of the surface roughness and thickness of the oil layer provides pressing plants in the automotive industry with enormous potential in terms of reducing their waste and enhancing process reliability before continuing to process aluminium strip or plate material. The oil layer measurement, however, has specific requirements. The trend is towards higher strength material with thinner oil layers, which, overall, means enhanced requirements for the pressing process in terms of accuracy. Due to the close relationship between the oil layer and material roughness, as well as the significant influence they have on the forming process, e.g. for the automobile manufacturer, accurate monitoring and control of both factors during production of the strip will provide the aluminium manufacturer with an important competitive advantage.

Standard measuring methods that are used in the production of aluminium stripmaterial are based on the use of handheld devices. The accuracy of this approach is extremely limited and prone to errors, particularly due to the low statistical significance of the individual measurement (point measurement) and the human factor. These limitations are overcome with the introduction of the EMG SORM3plus and EMG SOLID® online measuring systems, which are also suitable for the aluminium production process. EMG SORM3plus is a laser-based online roughness measuring system, which delivers online values for Ra and Rpc in a quasi-continuous manner at production speeds of up to 2400 m/min.
The EMG SOLID® system, which is based on infrared spectroscopy and used for continuous online measurement of the oil layer, is suitable for use on uncoated and pre-treated aluminium strip material and can be used for a wide variety of lubricants (mineral oils, thixotropic mineral oils, dry-film lubricants/dry lubes).
In addition to providing online measurement data and enabling the operator to intervene immediately in the process to prevent variations in quality and complaints, both systems also provide valuable historical data that can be used for trend analysis, statistical process optimisation and the verification of process models.
By combining these systems, the aluminium manufacturer is able to generate data consistently throughout the process chain, thereby enabling the production of individual plate material to be replicated exactly in the downstream processes. The data cannot only be used for subsequent error analysis, but it can also be used in the future for targeted control of presses and post oiling systems in the pressing plant. This is, at the very least, potential that can be derived from the industry-wide activities conducted in the context of the Industry 4.0 paradigm.

Aluminum foil flexible pipes can deliver all kinds of media of temperatures between -50℃ and 150℃. They are applied in heat or cold maintaining projects for centralized heating, central cooling and hot oil delivery in industries like petroleum, chemical, coal, refrigeration and heating supply. Although you may have caught sight of the pipes a lot in daily life, you might not pay enough attention to their structures.

Generally speaking, an aluminum foil flexible pipe consists of four parts: delivery tube, heat preservation layer, protective shell and alarming lines. There are different types of delivery pipes in accordance with technical requirement for medium to be delivered. A pipe may be equipped with delivery tubes of seamed steel, seamless steel as well as helical welded steel with submerged arcs on both sides. Heat preservation layer normally adopts hard polyurethane foaming plastic as raw material. It has necessary strength and flexibility. Besides, foaming plastic with air inside shows perfect heat maintaining property. The protective shell of an aluminum foil flexible pipe is made of high-density polyethylene or fiber glass which conducts heat less quickly than metals, thus heat can be preserved more efficiently. Alarming lines have been embedded in the heat preservation layer near steel tubes during the production of high temperature insulation tubes for direct burial. In case of leakage of delivered medium, the alarming line will send signals to a special measuring instrument. At the same time, leakage location and scale will be displayed on the instrument so that maintenance workers would be able to deal with the problem quickly.
Haomei Aluminum produces aluminum foil of all common specifications. With decades of manufacturing experience and over ten years of export history, we have professional teams offering considerate service. Welcome to contact us at wade@haomeicn.com or leave a message for more information!

.![[Image: aluminum_plate-2-300x225.jpg]](http://www.aluminiumstrip-hm.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/aluminum_plate-2-300x225.jpg)
T6 state of 6061 aluminum alloy is the most used, forming process including medium thickness plate quenching, medium plate section, drawing machine, aging treatment, sewing machine, polishing, packing.
The whole production cycle isabout 10 days. After heat treatment, It doesn’t need to be cold, but can be straightened, leveling, not affecting the mechanical properties.
F state is freedom of 6061 aluminum alloy processing, applied to the process of forming, the strain hardening and heat treatment conditions of special products.F state production cycle is short: medium thickness plate section, sewing machine, polishing (also is not polished, according to customer’s requirement) – packaging, the entire process to arrange 3 days can be shipped smoothly. F state mechanical properties do not have strict specifications, customers according to their own needs can be heat treatment processing, the F state again the state into production use. Corresponding to the price is the cheapest.
O state is to obtain the minimum strength of 6061 aluminum alloy after annealing completely processed products, applied to the 6061 aluminum alloy sheet under 8.0mm. Its production process: cold rolling thickness – bent proper cleaning – full annealing – fly shear piece of stretch bending pose (or out of the finished product) – packing warehousing and so on a series of production, production cycle after T6 state.
haomei aluminum 6061 aluminum plate is applied widely with excellent performance, welcome to inquire.

| Why copper and aluminum are used in HVAC coils |
|

HVAC coils are often made with copper and aluminum, two metals that efficiently transfer heat. That’s because cost and effective heat transfer are often the key deciding factors in choosing materials for HVAC coils. There are pros and cons to both copper and aluminum, which I describe below.

Let’s start with some basics about where the heat transfer takes place in coils. In most HVAC coils, tubes are responsible for 30% of the heat transfer and fins are responsible for the other 70%. That’s because the surface of the fins is larger than the surface of the tubes.
Copper
Pros: Copper coils are stronger, easier to maintain, and more reliable than aluminum coils. Copper has a better heat transfer rate and is easier to repair in the field if the coil is damaged.
Cons: The cost of copper continues to rise, and copper coils require more material than aluminum coils.
Aluminum
Pros: Aluminum offers effective heat transfer at a lower cost than copper. Aluminum is more pliable than copper, so less aluminum is required.
Cons: Aluminum coils are difficult to repair and usually need to be replaced. Aluminum coils are also more difficult to clean and maintain. Aluminum fins can corrode, although this can be prevented with the application of a coating.
Given the pros and cons of copper and aluminum, we often sell HVAC coils that combine copper tubes with aluminum fins. Copper tubes offer the best heat transfer and aluminum fins offer good value. Chilled water coils, hot water coils, condenser coils and evaporator coils typically use copper tubes and aluminum fins. However steam coils and steam distribution coils often run at a higher PSI so we recommend stainless steel tubing depending on the pressure and application.

| Why are aluminum coils so corrosion resistant? |

Aluminum coil is actually a very active metal, in the sense that it oxidizes very quickly. This feature, while a weakness for most metals, is actually the key to its ability to resist corrosion. When oxygen is present (in the air, soil, or water), aluminum instantly reacts to form aluminum oxide. This aluminum oxide layer is chemically bound to the surface, and it seals the core aluminum from any further reaction. This is quite different from oxidation (corrosion) in steel or other metals, where rust puffs up and flakes off, constantly exposing new metal to corrosion. Aluminum’s oxide film is tenacious, hard, and instantly self-renewing.
![[Image: e2.jpg]](http://www.coil-aluminum.com/images/e2.jpg)
Therefore, as long as this oxide layer is not damaged, aluminum coil will remain resistant to corrosion. What factors can affect this oxide layer? Basically, extreme pH levels. Very high or very basic environments can destroy this protective layer and it might not renew itself as fast as needed to to keep protecting the alumnium core. Normally, aluminum´s protective oxide layer is generally stable in the pH range of 4,5 to 8,5.
Salt water DOES NOT corrode aluminum coil !
There is a traditional fear in the AC industry about heat exchangers exposed to marine conditions. For sure, aluminum does not corrode in lakes and pools. But, what about seawater? Well, surprising as it may be, seawater does not corrode aluminium, simply because of its neutral pH. Then, why traditional copper coils made of copper and aluminum corrode so much near the ocean, up to the point where the aluminum fins disappear? Will not this happen even more likely to aluminum coils being aluminum a softer metal than copper?
![[Image: t3.jpg]](http://www.coil-aluminum.com/images/t3.jpg)
The reason is a more complex kind of corrosion called galvanic corrosion and saltwater can be a major facilitator for this.
microchannel coils are more corrosion resistant than traditional copper andaluminum coils because
Aluminum is a very stable, low corrosion material due to its natural protective oxide layer.
This protective oxide layer is very stable as long as you keep the surrounding pH between 4,5 and 8,5.
The most frequent cause of corrosion in aluminum is due to galvanic corrosion.
The good news is that if you properly understand how galvanic corrosion works, it is very easy to avoid or at least, minimize.
Galvanic corrosion takes place when:
We have two metals in contact
They are inmersed or surrounded (totally or partially) by an electrolyte (in AC applications the most common would be humidity and salt).
We also know:
The further these metals are in the galvanic series, the stronger the reaction
The anode will be the sacrifice material whereas the cathode will get stronger.
