When the pure metal is obtained it is soft but it becomes hard when alloyed.
It is ductile in nature and can be beaten into very thin sheets. It's a good conductor of heat and electricity because of the 3+ charge, meaning there are 3 declocalised electrons moving freely between each aluminium atom, which helps them to quickly pass the energy applied to it.
It's also a corrosive resistant metal.
