are aluminum rims bad to use for a firepit - Vqwykata - 01-14-2020

i keep hearing all these things about burning aluminum foil and suchYes, aluminum is a soft metal andit will not hold up well in a fire and if it\'s a hot fire you don\'t want to breathe in any fumes the rim might give off. If you want to use a rim, best to use steel. Or like the other guy said, rocks or bricks.Yes, it will not hold up and if the fire gets hot enough, it may melt. It is better to use rocks that do not come from a stream or any water area.Other related question
