why is it that paper it self catches fire easily but paper wrapped around a alum - Abpddtks - 01-16-2020
fire easilywhen the paper is on its own, it has no means to dissipate heat so it easily catches fire, but when it is in contact with a metal, there occurs heat exchange between the metal and the paper(the exchange of heat will be good with aluminium since it is a good conductor of heat)thus it would require a lot more heat for the paper to ignitehope my answer helps
