No 。Aluminum is one of the most widely used of the common metals. It is light-weight (about 1/3 the weight of steel) and its high strength-to-weight ratio make it a good choice for everything from aircraft parts to candy bar wrappers.

Is aluminum as heavy as steel?
Stainless steel is heavier and stronger than aluminum. In fact, aluminum is around 1/3 the weight of steel. Even though stainless steel is stronger, aluminum has a much better strength to weight ratio than stainless steel
