Any tips for a good (ideally environmentally friendly) product to clean this green growth off aluminium checker plate please?

Any acid based clean will remove the oxide as well. So do the whole boat and don’t leave it on too long. Any alkaline based cleaner will fog the aluminum and make it white. Don’t use it. Just use a pressure washer or the acid based cleaner
