Aluminum grade and quality has become much better with technology and welding practices, while steel is indeed stronger in certain applications with less material the benefits of the newer aluminum products completely nullify this article, better science over old traditions, but I am sure you will convince a few people ?good luck with that, we can survey the millions of owners of all aluminum trailers and see how they are holding up, the ones that I have seen are in some cases almost 20 years old and still are not having any issues, with rusting or cracking, but that is just my observation
