The easiest casting, should be sand casting ... there is also lost wax casting. Though the names of the methods is the extent of my knowledge on the subject. I would suggest not cans, but other aluminum recycleables after they have been stripped of paint and cleaned of coatings, such as hard drive casings or old junkyard aluminum car part
