That was my first thougt....but 1/8" thick would be pushing it for tinsnips.
Air powered die grinder would go through it like butter. Dremel would also work well, or a hacksaw if none of the other options are available. Al is not hard to cut.
My first choice would be Dremel, because a hacksaw might leave burrs/jagged edges, where a dremel would generally leave it pretty smooth. Plus, you could finish it up with other dremel attachments to smooth out any rough edges left behind.
